Iraq Revenue Watch is a new monitoring project dedicated to promoting transparency in the management of Iraq’s oil revenues and to ensuring the benefits of national oil wealth flow to the people of Iraq. The Iraq Revenue Watch Web site reports on U.S. policy in Iraq and offers online guides to reconstruction issues, as well as key documents, reports and links to organizations working on Iraq’s reconstruction effort. OSI is a private operating and grant-making foundation based in New York founded by international financier and pro-democracy advocate, George Soros, initially, to support former communist countries in their transition to democracy.
