TOKYO — Iraq’s outstanding debts to foreign governments are estimated at about $30 billion, a senior official of the Finance Ministry said Thursday.
Hiroshi Watanabe, director-general of the Finance Ministry’s International Bureau, told reporters that the Paris club of 19 major creditor nations is expected to discuss the matter at a meeting in July or later.
