Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammad has said that the State Government is ready to talk with [the] Canadian High Commissioner to get the promised grant of Rs. 98.30 crore for [the] Malabar Cancer Centre from Canadian firm SNC-Lavalin.
Aryadan Mohammad told reporters here on Tuesday that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and himself would write letters to [the] Union Finance Ministry and the Canadian High Commissioner [on] the matter. He was reacting to [the] Canadian High Commissioner’s promise that they were ready to mediate between the Government of India and SNC-Lavalin on the issue.
