The Big Green Lie almost everyone claims to believe

The claim that the “science was settled” on climate change never withstood scrutiny. What is settled is the abject failure of the three-decade-long attempt by the bureaucracies of the 195 countries of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to convince anyone other than themselves, a credulous media, and a relatively few gullible people that climate change represents an existential threat.

Almost every member of Congress, Democrat or Republican, pays homage to the Big Green Lie. So do all the past and remaining Conservative candidates vying to be prime minister of the U.K. and every candidate currently vying for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada. So does virtually all of the mainstream press. The Big Green Lie—that carbon dioxide is a pollutant—is so pervasive that even those considered skeptics—including right-wing NGOs and pundits—generally adhere to the orthodoxy, differing not in their stated belief that CO2 is a pollutant but only in how calamitous a pollutant it is.

Because everyone now participates in the CO2-emissions-are-bad lie, the debate over climate policy hasn’t been over whether a CO2 problem exists but over how urgently CO2 needs to be addressed, and how it should be addressed. Do we have eight years left before Armageddon becomes inevitable or decades? Do we get off fossil fuels by building nuclear plants or wind turbines? Should we change our lifestyles to need less of everything? Or should we mitigate this evil—the view of those deemed climate minimalists—by shielding our continents from a rising of the oceans by enclosing them behind sea walls?

Climate change is the worlds biggest sham. Governments like Canada’s government are willing to sacrifice thousands of jobs while systematically taxing the living ____out of its people in hopes of having us all believe that we can really impact global climate change. So while the rest of the world remains dirty our PM has failed to reveal that the overall reduction to Canada’s contribution to greenhouses gases (which is only 1.3%) is only 0.25% so create an energy crisis for a quarter of a percent change. Canada already has a stellar clean environment. Our standards are already based on California (the dirtiest state) This whole sham is basically to appease the PM’s many supposedly green friends that want to invest here. Making huge investments in unproven carbon-capture technology and EV’s. It’s even been proven that the once deemed 100% wind turbines do in fact create carbon emissions and speaking of carbon, when did it specifically be deemed the world sole polluter? Governments fail to inform their citizens of the true environmental costs of mining for EV’s materials. Look at Chile for example. They have Lithium mines consuming 60% of the regions watershed while also dumping tons of acid wash into the local flora and fauna. Furthermore, the machinery needed to reach these rare earth metals (called rare earth metals for a reason) burns tons of hydrocarbons–the exact same thing they want us all to believe is evil. Historically the earth heats up and cools down and there is plenty of data to back that, data collected over decades with complete transparency. Like how the earth magically heated up prior to the industrial revolution and yet during, it actually cooled down. Nowadays it seems scientists are willing to say whatever on the record provided they receive grants and honorariums. So basically if a government wants you to say something that aligns with their master plan than you provide something, not necessarily the truth but fear has proven to be a much better motivator to use on the common people than real facts are. Science is only real science if the purpose is that of genuine discovery and not because your employer is the government and demands results. Even the 97% agreement of the scientific communities stance on climate change (previously dubbed as Global Warming) by some 4,000 scientists was deemed a sham. So wearing a lab jacket and having a PHd means you are just as easily swayed into lying if it better suits a political agenda. Even if climate change was a real threat to people, the effects of which won’t be really troublesome for hundreds of years. Since when do people care about what happens to the planet long after they’ve died? Exactly, nobody! We have always had tropical storms, forest fires, earthquakes. Canada’s climate change policies attack common citizens while allowing big industry to keep polluting. Surprisingly many people don’t even realize that many of the items they toss into their blue recycling boxes each week still end up in the landfill when its supposed to be recycled. That’s because it costs money to recycle and there are only viable post-consumer markets for 4 of the 9 categories for recyclable products.
