Vietnam’s state utility, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), issued a warning that it might cut power during peak times from 9:30 to 11 AM on some days in June, Vietnam News Agency reported.
Electricity demand in the country has reached 240 million kWh a day, an increase of 14 per cent compared to the same period last year. But the maximum capacity for May was only 222.5 million kWh.
