Top political advisor, Jia Qinglin, has inspected quake-affected Yingxiu Town and Dujiangyan City. He asked locals about their living conditions after the earthquake.

Jia Qinglin said the Party and central government are doing their utmost to help with relief work. Jia Qinglin encouraged factories to resume production and called for continuous monitoring of the swollen Zipingpu dam.

Jia Qinglin later inspected the situation at the dam. He also visited a local command center for quake relief.
