Ontario-based Acres International is still feeling the repercussions of a scandal-ridden African water project.
Two years ago, the engineering firm was convicted of bribery and fined three-and-a-half million dollars.
Now it faces World Bank sanctions.
The international development and loan institution has barred Acres from bidding on any World Bank-funded projects for the next three years.
