The Nigerian deputy senate president, Senator Ibrahim Mantu, has decried corruption amongst government officials in Africa.
Mantu was speaking at a party organised by Nigerian envoy S. Edem for the senator and Nigerians in Uganda on Monday.
The party took place at the residence of the Nigerian High Commissioner in Nakasero, Kampala. Mantu is in Uganda to attend the 33rd Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) African Regional congress that kicked off on Monday at the International Conference Centre.
“Corruption is the biggest problem in the World and we Africans are greedily corrupt. The whole thing is not worth it and not until people say no to it then there is no way forward,” Mantu said.
